Their work bridges academic rigor with practical farming realities, conducting trials across diverse Georgia growing conditions to deliver insights and innovations that directly benefit local growers.

Dr. Calvin Meeks

Agronomist

Calvin Meeks serves as Seed Program Manager and Lead Research Scientist at RW Griffin, overseeing seed sales across 21 retail locations while directing the company's applied research initiatives. With a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from the University of Georgia and experience in variety testing, precision agriculture, and crop management, Calvin bridges research and practice to deliver innovative solutions that improve productivity and profitability for Georgia growers.

Dr. Glenn Harris 

Sales Agronomist

Dr. Glen Harris brings over 30 years of agronomic expertise to RW Griffin, having spent three decades as an Extension Agronomist at the University of Georgia–Tifton specializing in cotton and peanut production, soil fertility, and nutrient management. As a Sales Agronomist, Glen combines cutting-edge research with practical field experience to help growers make informed decisions that drive measurable results.
